Description
55% Cast iron welding rods is a graphite type coated electrode with a Fe-Ni alloy core. Fe-Ni alloy provides favorable welding properties for cast iron. Graphite coating helps to improve arc stability, provides better control over the welding process and promotes good machinability of the welds. Low expansion coefficient to reduce the risk of cracking and distortion in the welded cast iron material. Machining properties, allowing the welded cast iron to be easily machined, shaped or finished without encountering excessive hardness or brittleness. Ideal for welding ductile cast iron, malleable cast iron and grey cast iron materials. Classification of electrode is ENiFe-Cl (according to AWS A5.15) or ENiFe-1 G24 (according to DIN 8573).
