ER5356 Aluminium TIG welding rods are made from high-quality 5356 grade aluminium TIG welding wire, which is the most widely used welding alloy for aluminium. Contain 5% magnesium enhances the strength and performance of the weld. General purpose filler alloy, making it suitable for a wide range of aluminium welding applications. Relatively high shear strength, which is important for applications where strong and durable welds are required. The base material of the 5356 alloy has a weld pool chemistry greater than 3% magnesium, ensures compatibility and optimal performance. Suitable for service temperatures exceeding 6°C, for application where temperature resistance is required. Produces weld or deposits with high strength and very good crack resistance to ensure reliability and integrity of the welded joints. Good corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments.
