Description
MMA/TIG DC inverter designed to comply with safety requirements in environments with voltage restrictions like underground mines or damp conditions to prevent electrical hazards. VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) reduces the maximum open circuit voltage across the welding machine’s output terminals to below 20 volts. The presence of a VRD can however cause difficulty in the striking and re-striking of the arc with less skilled operators. Machine has to rapidly change from the reduced open circuit voltage of 20 volts to the open circuit voltage of around 56 volts necessary to strike the arc. Adjustable Arc force can be adjusted, allowing for customization of the welding arc’s stability and penetration, providing better control. Hot start function briefly increases the current at the start of the weld, preventing electrode sticking and facilitating smoother arc initiation. Over voltage and over current protection, ensuring the safety of the equipment and the user during welding operations. Suitable for scratch start TIG welding, which is a basic form of TIG welding that does not require a high-frequency start or a TIG torch with a built-in trigger. Carbon Arc gouging capabilities, which allows for efficient metal removal in various applications. Easy to read digital display. Supplied with welding cables and carry handles. Important to note that all VRD machines must be built-in and cannot have an on/off function.
