Description
External micrometers is a precision measuring instrument used measure the external dimensions of objects with a range of 75-100mm and graduation of 0.01mm. Tapered bow frame with tungsten carbide measuring faces. Flat anvil and lockable 6.5mm spindle type with ratchet thimble. Finely threaded spindle that moves the anvil towards or away from the object being measured. Measurements are read from the thimble and the sleeve. Thimble is divided into 50 parts, with each part representing 0.01mm. Complies with DIN 863/1 standards. Calibration certificate supplied in plastic case with micrometer.
