External micrometer 6 piece set is precision measuring instruments used measure the external dimensions of objects with a range of 0-150mm and graduation of 0.01mm. Tapered bow frame with tungsten carbide measuring faces. Flat anvil and lockable 6.5mm spindle type with ratchet thimble. Finely threaded spindle that moves the anvil towards or away from the object being measured. Measurements are read from the thimble and the sleeve. Each thimble is divided into 50 parts, with each part representing 0.01mm. Complies with DIN 863 standards. Micrometers: 0-25mm, 25-50mm, 50-75mm, 75-100mm, 100-125mm and 125-150mm. Calibration certificate supplied in wooden case with micrometer.
