30cm Chalkline in aluminium case is a marking tool used in construction, woodworking and metalworking applications. Consists of a metal hook, aluminium case filled with powder that holds a spool of chalk-coated string or cord that can be pulled out and used to create straight lines or marks on surfaces. The string is then stretched and snapped against the surface being marked, leaving a straight line of chalk on the surface. Lever to retract the chalkline to pretect from dust and debris. Ideal for painting, cutting, drilling, or sawing operations.
