The flaw and crack detector system consists of three components that work together to detect flaws and cracks on the metal surfaces. Essential to use no.1 cleaner, no.2 penetrant and no.3 developer for optimal results. Provides a fast, economical and reliable method of visually detecting surface defects in metal components. Suitable for all Metals, including aluminum, nickel, stainless steel and titanium. When the system is applied to the metal surface, cracks appear as red lines and porous areas are indicated by red pinpoints. Ideal for weld inspection, incoming materials inspection, quality control and general engineering purposes. IMPA: 45 06 30. Cleaner no.1 used to remove all surface contamination such as oil, grease dust and rust thoroughly with absorbent cloth until no further contamination is evident on the cloth. Fast-drying, colourless spray, contains no chlorinated solvents and leaves no residue. Ideal for pre-cleaning and easy removal of dye and developer.
