Description

The flaw and crack detector system consists of three components that work together to detect flaws and cracks on the metal surfaces. Essential to use no.1 cleaner, no.2 penetrant and no.3 developer for optimal results. Provides a fast, economical and reliable method of visually detecting surface defects in metal components. Suitable for all Metals, including aluminum, nickel, stainless steel and titanium. When the system is applied to the metal surface, cracks appear as red lines and porous areas are indicated by red pinpoints. Ideal for weld inspection, incoming materials inspection, quality control and general engineering purposes. IMPA: 45 06 30. Apply a thin, even film of no.3 developer (white) and leave for 10 minutes before inspecting for fine flaws and cracks. Larger flaws detected immediately. Reveals cracks as continuous red lines and porous parts as red pinpoints. Only a thin film of developer is required as too much developer may mask the smaller flaws. Invert can and spray for 3 seconds to clear the nozzle after use.
