Description
Copper clout nails are used for fixing roofing materials such as slates, tiles, and roofing felt to wooden structures. Ideal for roofing applications since they are resistant to corrosion and have a low thermal expansion coefficient. Will not loosen or become dislodged as a result of temperature changes. Design features a large, flat head and a short shank, allowing the nail to be easily hammered into the surface of the material and provide a secure hold. Prevents the staining of roofing materials that can occur when using traditional galvanized steel nails. Copper nails can be used in saltwater environments and coastal areas.
